Taboka Motlhabane is a technical advisor- renewable energy supporting the Project Development Programme (PDP) and the Learning Energy Efficiency Networks (LEEN) implemented by GIZ Botswana. Her involves supporting renewable energy adoption and promotion in the commercial and industrial sectors, the tourism sector, farming, and agriculture sectors. She holds a bachelors in the field of energy engineering and a research master’s in mechanical and energy engineering, her research was focused on solar photovoltaic air-conditioning. Her experience ranges from oil and gas, academia, risk management, and energy development. Taboka is a WomEng 2020 Southern African Fellow, a One Young World 2021 BP Net-Zero Scholar and a Young African Leadership Initiative & Power Africa Women in African Power Leadership alumni.
