MOATLHODI SEBABOLE

First National Bank, Botswana

Moatlhodi Sebabole has over five years of experience in the academic and financial institutions, with a focus on finance, banking, investments and economic policy development. He is currently a Market Strategist/Economist for First National Bank of Botswana where he oversees the bank's market intelligence, macro forecasts, and analysis. He is actively engaged in public-private partnership (PPP) policy development through Business Botswana. He also works in education advocacy as a course reviewer at Botswana Qualification Authority, and a lecturer at Botswana Institute of Bankers. He is an active alumnus for AIESEC, focusing on leadership development. He has co-founded a Botswana incorporated NGO, Dumela International Association, which drives education and awareness on biosafety, sustainable biological diversity and tourism projects. Moatlhodi freelances in print and radio media as a financial analyst and offers to mentor to students and young graduates. He holds an MSc in Finance and Investment from the University of Essex, UK and a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Botswana. He is currently enrolling at the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa for a Ph.D. in Economic Sciences. Moatlhodi received the 50 Young Batswana Changemakers award and he aspires to drive the PPP model implementation in Botswana and the rest of SADC.
