Dr. Bonny I. Matshediso is a Mining Engineer currently working as a Senior Lecturer in Mining Engineering and Acting Director, Centre for Mining and Mineral Beneficiation at Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST). Dr Matshediso served as a Head, Department of Mining and Geological Engineering at BIUST. Before joining BIUST, Dr Matshediso had worked as a Senior Lecturer in Mining Engineering at University of Botswana (UB) and University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. He has also worked for the Botswana Government first as a Government Mining and later as a Principal Mining Engineer, Department of Mines in the Ministry of Minerals and Energy. Dr Matshediso is the Interim Board Chairman of the largest coal mine in Botswana, Morupule Coal Mine.
