Lebogang George is an admitted Attorney of the High Court of Botswana. Lebogang George recently relocated back home after 14 years of studying and working in South Africa.Â
Lebogang completed her articles of clerkship at Mathopo Moshimane Mulangaphuma trading as Dm5 Incorporated. Lebogang has extensive experience in General Commercial Law, Procurement Law, Information, Communications and Technology Law, Information Technology Governance as well as Data Protection and Privacy Law (her experience in Data Protection and Privacy Law spans across South Africa and the European Union). She has provided professional legal support in various projects which focused on Modernization and Technology, and in terms of which projects she was tasked with drafting, reviewing and negotiating software acquisitions, software licenses, software development and maintenance agreements on behalf of her clients, advising her clients in respect of same as well as ensuring governance and compliance with the legal precepts and procurement policies.
Further, Lebogang has developed and created data strategies for clients, has provided training interventions, conducted privacy impact, compliance and risk assessments to clients in the public and private sectors where POPIA and GDPR are concerned.Â

In 2022 she was nominated for a Women in Tech Africa award. Women in Tech is an international non-profit organization on a mission to close the gender gap and to help women embrace technology. They aim to educate, equip, and empower women and girls with the necessary skills, confidence and opportunities to succeed in STEM career fields.
In 2016 she was awarded and recognized as the Mail & Guardian & GabzFM Top 50 Botswana Change Maker.
