Ms. Nancy K is an environment and natural resources lawyer who works at national, regional and international levels in the areas of minerals resources, water resources, environmental and climate governance; human and sustainable development; intellectual property rights; good governance; indigenous knowledge systems; energy; natural resources development and biological resources. Her technical knowledge, experience and competencies include consultative processes, project/programme design, implementation and management in the context of sustainable development and human rights-based approaches to sustainable development.

Ms. Nancy K has worked amongst others private sector and for the public service, the UN and has worked on projects funded by development partners such as the UNEP, UNDP, World Bank, GIZ, USAID, Sida, Danida and SADC.  She provides pro-bono work to civil society organisation in her areas of expertise.

Ms. Nancy K speaks fluent English, iKalanga and Setswana.  She has a fair working knowledge of Shona, Ndebele isiZulu, Xhosa, and conversational French.

She holds a Master of Environmental Law degree from the University of Sydney in Australia and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Botswana.
