Women in Mining Botswana Organisation (WiMBO)

I am driven by a vision of transforming Africa’s financial landscape through strong governance, sustainability, and empowerment. As the Vice President of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Member at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), my focus is on advocating for best practices in finance and sustainability to create a positive impact in our communities.

My extensive experience in financial compliance, sustainability reporting, and treasury management—developed during my time as the Finance and Treasury Manager at Debswana and at Deloitte Botswana—equips me to influence change effectively. I leverage platforms like my podcast, "The Landscape," to educate and inspire dialogue on critical issues in finance, leadership, and sustainability.

As a Chartered Accountant and a committee member of the Institute Risk Management of South Africa (IRMSA) for the Botswana Chapter, I aim to enhance risk management practices across sectors. My role as a Transformational Leader Ambassador reflects my commitment to driving organizational and digital transformation, fostering an environment where innovative solutions can thrive.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am passionate about empowering youth and promoting knowledge-sharing. My representation of ICAEW and OYW in 2019 highlights my dedication to thought leadership. Ultimately, my mission is to harness my strategic mindset, governance expertise, and advocacy for ESG principles to shape a sustainable and progressive future for Africa.
