Segametsi Mafa is an ICT Professional and General Management Consultant with a Consultancy business focused on ICTs, Governance, Service Management, Risk, Projects and Strategy Management, Service Xcellence founded in 2020. She wears many hats as a decorated ICT and Management professional who is passionate about developing and growing people as a foundation to any strategy that works towards success. Experienced and qualified in Enterprise Risk Management, Project Management, Strategy Management and Change Management, she uses a mix of her qualifications, skills and experiences to lead and deliver in a wide array of industries and sectors. 

As a Tech enthusiast in dynamic tech world, she always strives to stay ahead through research and knowledge sharing opportunities as she also believes that getting people involved at every stage of a new or changing environment yields positive outcomes and minimises resistance or little adoption of the changes introduced while getting the best out of what you do at personal, business and organizational levels.

Her passion to drive positive change through adoption of digital tools and technologies led her to give public and specific-group awareness and trainings on various digital topics of interest to ordinary persons to Entrepreneurs to Corporates to Parents to Children to Graduates to Boards and Experts alike, assisting them to derive value from their digital tools and technologies’ investments.

She introduced programs in her business such as Character Building through Digital Awareness delivered at high schools, a weekly public-digital awareness program through Yarona FM all in her endeavour to bring about a digitally literate communities and build a healthy cyber-aware culture among some. She loves coaching and mentoring others. She takes pride in being with Yarona FM for 4 years as a Digital Awareness Advocate sharing digital and tech related topics with the public through radio. She inaugurated the Annual ICT Graduates Conference in 2020, added Mentorship for the same graduates and young professionals and hosted 5th Conference in November 2025, yet to kick start plans for the next Annual Conference.

Segametsi, also known as "Serg On Stage" has also become a brand amongst Corporate MCs from small events to big conferences, if she is not on stage as an MC, she will be on stage nonetheless as a Moderator, Speaker or Panelist, infusing her knowledge of ICTs into every topic and making one realise that they are part of this tech transition journey regardless of their field of work or position in the hierarchy.

She has over 5 years of full time entrepreneurial experience since 2020 and prior to that she acquired over 18 years of Corporate experience from Government, Parastatals and the Private Sector, having assumed positions from Technical roles to Senior leadership roles, with her longest serving role as IT Manager Operations at Debswana Jwaneng Mine from 2012 to 2019. She possess a wide range of Governance experience from trainings as well as serving at Management Board levels too.
