Tshepo Seetsela is a strategic management professional, enterprise development specialist, and board-level contributor with over 15 years of experience working at the intersection of entrepreneurship, citizen economic empowerment, and productive sector development in Botswana.


She holds a Master of Science in Strategic Management from Derby University (UK) and has completed advanced executive and consultancy programmes, including the Africa New Managers’ Development Programme at Stellenbosch University, the Accelerate Consultancy Programme at the Kelley School of Business (USA), and Small Business Consultancy training from North-West University, South Africa. Her academic grounding is complemented by strong practical experience in enterprise diagnostics, growth strategy, and institutional engagement.


Tshepo has worked extensively with citizen-owned enterprises, small-scale miners, and emerging suppliers, supporting them through business advisory, training, mentorship, incubation, and supplier development initiatives. Her work focuses on strengthening operational systems, improving market readiness, enabling compliance, and supporting participation in formal value chains, particularly within resource-based and productive sectors.


She is an active member of the Small-Scale Miners Association Botswana, the Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining (ASM) Network, the Africa Mining Forum, and the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance. Tshepo also serves as a Board Member, contributing strategic oversight, governance, and enterprise development perspectives.


Tshepo brings a strong passion for inclusive growth, local value addition, and sustainable enterprise development, with a particular interest in empowering citizens to meaningfully participate in high-impact sectors of the economy.
